This is our debut album, "There From Here"

The album plays out like a story, intended to be listened to from top to bottom. In today’s “shuffle” society, this is a breath of fresh air. Starting with A Sonic Handshake, the listener is welcomed into the world of TuneTown. What follows is a series of tunes and moods, ranging from the swinging Monks of Oka (dedicated to the great Thelonious Monk) to the sublime closer, A Transient Space. In between there are also 2 standards arranged by the band; a gorgeous reworking of Duke Ellington’s Sophisticated Lady and a swinging reharmonization of Cole Porter’s All of You. In addition, the listener is treated to the cheeky nature of the group with The Mayor: a nod to municipal leaders of the world, and a tip of the cap to Toronto’s more “colourful” mayors from past years.
